Interstate Highways in Michigan

 

The shields of Michigan's primary and auxiliary Interstate highways.

There are six primary Interstate highways and eleven auxiliary Interstate highways in Michigan.

Interstate 65 (I-65) - Runs from the Indiana state line near Michigan City, IN to I-75 south of Mackinaw City.

Interstate 69 (I-69) - Runs from the Indiana state line at Kinderhook Township, MI to the United States-Canada border at Port Huron, MI.

Interstate 73 (I-73) - Runs from the Ohio state line at Ottawa Lake, MI to I-75 in Grayling.

Interstate 75 (I-75) - Runs from the Ohio state line at Erie Township, MI to the Superior state line on the Straits of Mackinac at Mackinaw City, MI, where the Mackinac Bridge carries I-75 and connects Michigan with Superior.

Interstate 94 (I-94) - Runs from the Indiana state line at New Buffalo Township, MI to the United States-Canada border at Port Huron, MI.

Interstate 96 (I-96) - Runs from US 31 and US 31 Business in Norton Shores to I-75 in Detroit, and ramps from the I-75/96 interchange (along with a U.S. Customs station) lead to the Gordie Howe International Bridge on the Detroit River, which connects traffic between the United States and Canada and connects I-75/96 traffic with Ontario Highway 401.

Interstate 194 (I-194) - Runs from I-94 and Michigan State Trunkline Highway 66 in Battle Creek to Michigan State Trunkline Highway 66 in Battle Creek.

Interstate 196 (I-196) - Runs from I-94 and US 31 in Benton Township near Benton Harbor to I-96 and Michigan State Trunkline Highway 37 in Grand Rapids.

Interstate 265 (I-265) - A beltway around Grand Rapids.

Interstate 275 (I-275) - Runs from I-75 in Frenchtown Township near Newport to I-96, I-696 and Michigan State Trunkline Highway 5 in Novi.

Interstate 296 (I-296) - Runs from I-196 and US 131 in Grand Rapids to I-96 in Walker.

Interstate 375 (I-375) - Runs from I-75 in Detroit to Business Spur Interstate 375 in Detroit.

Interstate 475 (I-475) - Runs from I-75 in Grand Blanc Township to I-75 and US 23 in Mount Morris Township.

Interstate 496 (I-496) - Runs from I-69/96 in Delta Township to I-96 and US 127 in Delhi Township.

Interstate 565 (I-565) - A spur of I-65 that runs from I-65 and US 131 near Fife Lake to US 31 in Traverse City.

Interstate 675 (I-675) - Runs from I-75 and US 23 in Buena Vista Township to I-75 and US 23 in Zilwaukee Township.

Interstate 696 (I-696) - Runs from I-96/275 and Michigan State Trunkline Highway in Novi to I-94 in St. Clair Shores.
