Interstate Highways in Tennessee

 

The shields for Tennessee's primary and auxiliary Interstate highways.

There are ten primary Interstate highways and eleven auxiliary Interstate highways in Tennessee.

Interstate 22 (I-22) - Runs from the Mississippi state line in Memphis, TN to I-55 in Memphis, just before the Arkansas state line on the Mississippi River. I-22 bypasses Memphis International Airport to the east.

Interstate 24 (I-24) - Runs from the Kentucky state line in Clarksville, TN to I-75 in Chattanooga. I-24 briefly dips into Georgia for four miles to connect with I-59.

Interstate 26 (I-26) - Runs from US 11W/23 in Kingsport to the North Carolina state line near Flag Pond, TN.

Interstate 40 (I-40) - Runs from the Arkansas state line on the Mississippi River at Memphis, TN to the North Carolina state line near Hartford, TN.

Interstate 55 (I-55) - Runs from the Arkansas state line on the Mississippi River at Memphis, TN to the Mississippi state line in Memphis, TN.

Interstate 62 (I-62) - Runs from I-81 in Blountville to the North Carolina state line near Mountain City, TN, helping to form a Hampton Roads, VA-Nashville, TN corridor.

Interstate 65 (I-65) - Runs from the Kentucky state line near Mitchellville, TN to the Alabama state line near Ardmore, TN.

Interstate 69 (I-69) - Runs from the Kentucky state line at Fulton, KY to the Mississippi state line at Memphis, TN.

Interstate 75 (I-75) - Runs from the Georgia state line at East Ridge, TN to the Kentucky state line near Jellico, TN.

Interstate 81 (I-81) - Runs from I-40 in Dandridge to the Virginia state line at Bristol, TN.

Interstate 124 (I-124) - Runs from I-24 in Chattanooga to US 27 in Chattanooga.

Interstate 140 (I-140) - Runs from Tennessee State Route 162 in Knoxville to US 129 and Tennessee State Route 162 in Alcoa.

Interstate 155 (I-155) - Runs from the Missouri state line on the Mississippi River to I-69 in Dyersburg.

Interstate 169 (I-169) - Runs from I-69 and US 51 in Union City to Tennessee State Routes 22/43 and US 45E in Martin.

Interstate 240 (I-240) - Runs from I-40 in Memphis to I-55 in Memphis.

Interstate 269 (I-269) - Runs from the Mississippi state line near Piperton, TN to I-69 in Millington.

Interstate 275 (I-275) - Runs from I-40 and US 441 in Knoxville to I-75/640 and US 25W in Knoxville.

Interstate 424 (I-424) - Runs from I-24 in Pleasant View to I-24 and Tennessee State Route 255 in Nashville.

Interstate 440 (I-440) - Runs from I-40 in Nashville to I-24 in Nashville.

Interstate 640 (I-640) - Runs from I-40/75 in Knoxville to I-40 and US 25W in Knoxville.

Interstate 840 (I-840) - Runs from I-40 near Dickson to I-40 near Lebanon.
