Interstate Highways in Georgia

 

The shields for Georgia's primary and auxiliary Interstate highways.

There are nine primary Interstate highways and ten auxiliary Interstate highways in Georgia.

Interstate 14 (I-14) - Runs from the Alabama state line to I-20 in Augusta.

Interstate 16 (I-16) - Runs from the Alabama state line near Columbus, GA to Montgomery Street in Savannah.

Interstate 20 (I-20) - Runs from the Alabama state line to the South Carolina state line.

Interstate 24 (I-24) - Dips into Dade County, Georgia from and to the Tennessee state line, mainly to interchange with the northern terminus of I-59 near Wildwood.

Interstate 30 (I-30) - Runs from the Alabama state line across Northern Georgia (passing through the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests) to the South Carolina state line.

Interstate 59 (I-59) - Runs from the Alabama state line to I-24 near Wildwood.

Interstate 75 (I-75) - Runs from the Tennessee state line to the Florida state line.

Interstate 85 (I-85) - Runs from the Alabama state line to the South Carolina state line.

Interstate 95 (I-95) - Runs from the Florida state line to the South Carolina state line.

Interstate 120 (I-120) - A spur route of I-20 that runs from I-20 in Madison to US 78/441 and Georgia State Route 10 (Oconee Street/Lexington Road) in Athens.

Interstate 185 (I-185) - Runs from I-85 near LaGrange to Lindsey Creek Parkway in Columbus.

Interstate 285 (I-285) - An outer beltway around Atlanta, known as "the Perimeter."

Interstate 475 (I-475) - Runs from I-75 near Macon to I-75 near Bolingbroke.

Interstate 516 (I-516)  - Runs from Georgia State Route 21 in Garden City to Georgia State Route 21 in Savannah.

Interstate 520 (I-520) - Runs from I-20 in Augusta to the South Carolina state line.

Interstate 575 (I-575) - Runs from I-75 in Kennesaw to Georgia State Routes 5/5 Business/372/515 west of Nelson.

Interstate 675 (I-675) - Runs from I-75 in Stockbridge to I-285 near Forest Park.

Interstate 875 (I-875) - The Outer Perimeter (AKA Georgia State Route 500), runs as a 55-mile outer belt encircling the outer fringes of the Atlanta metropolitan area and about 20-25 miles outside of I-285 (the Perimeter).

Interstate 985 (I-985) - Runs from I-85 and Georgia State Route 365 in Suwanee to US 23 and Georgia State Route 365 in Gainesville.
