Interstate Highways in Virginia

There are eleven primary Interstate highways and fourteen auxiliary Interstate highways in Virginia.

Interstate 62 (I-62) - Runs from the North Carolina state line south of Independence, VA to I-664 and US 58 in Chesapeake.

Interstate 64 (I-64) - Runs from the Kanawha state line near White Sulphur Springs, KA to I-264/664 in Chesapeake.

Interstate 66 (I-66) - Runs from the Washington, D.C. district line on the Potomac River at Arlington, VA to to the Kanawha state line near Wardensville, KA.

Interstate 73 (I-73) - Runs from the North Carolina state line near Ridgeway, VA to the Kanawha state line near Peterstown, KA.

Interstate 74 (I-74) - Runs from the North Carolina state line near Lambsburg, VA to the Kanawha state line near Rocky Gap, VA.

Interstate 77 (I-77) - Runs from the North Carolina state line near Lambsburg, VA to the Kanawha state line near Rocky Gap, VA.

Interstate 81 (I-81) - Runs from the Tennessee state line at Bristol, VA to the Kanawha state line near Bergton, VA.

Interstate 85 (I-85) - Runs from the North Carolina state line north of Bullock, NC to the Kanawha state line near Ridgeway, KA.

Interstate 87 (I-87) - Runs from the North Carolina state line south of Whaleyville, VA to I-62 in Suffolk.

Interstate 95 (I-95) - Runs from the North Carolina state line northeast of Gaston, NC to the Washington, D.C. district line on the Potomac River at Alexandria, VA.

Interstate 97 (I-97) - Runs from the Maryland state line north of New Church, VA to the North Carolina state line north of South Mills, NC.

Interstate 195 (I-195) - Runs from Virginia State Route 195 in Richmond to I-64/95 in Richmond.

Interstate 264 (I-264) - Runs from I-64/664 in Chesapeake to Parks Avenue, 21st Street and 22nd Street in Virginia Beach.

Interstate 266 (I-266) - Runs from I-66 in Arlington to the Washington, D.C. district line at the Potomac River nearby.

Interstate 295 (I-295) - Runs from I-95 near Petersburg to I-64 near Short Pump.

Interstate 385 (I-385) - Runs from the North Carolina state line near Bracey, VA to I-95 in Petersburg.

Interstate 395 (I-395) - Runs from I-95/495 in Springfield to the Washington, D.C. district line on the Potomac River at Arlington, VA.

Interstate 397 (I-397) - Runs from US 60 in Ocean View, Norfolk to US 60 and 50th Street in Virginia Beach.

Interstate 464 (I-464) - Runs from I-64/97 in Chesapeake to I-264 in Norfolk.

Interstate 495 (I-495) - The beltway around Washington, D.C.

Interstate 497 (I-497) - Runs from I-97 in Chesapeake to I-97 in Virginia Beach.

Interstate 564 (I-564) - Runs from Virginia State Route 337 in Norfolk to I-64 in Norfolk.

Interstate 664 (I-664) - Runs from I-64 in Hampton to I-64/264 in Chesapeake.

Interstate 785 (I-785) - Runs from the North Carolina state line at Danville, VA to Withers Road in Danville.

Interstate 895 (I-895) - An outer beltway of Richmond, runs from I-95 in Chester to I-95 in Ashland.
