The 55-State Union Series Sports Almanac - Women's National Basketball Association - Overview and Clubs

The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) is an American women's professional basketball league established in 1996 as the women's counterpart to the NBA. There are currently 20 teams in the WNBA, and each team plays 40 games in the regular season. The WNBA Finals is the championship round at the end of the playoffs following each season, and the winning team receives the WNBA Commissioner's Cup.
