Governors of Zeconnemeleth

The governor of Zeconnemeleth is the head of government of the U.S. state of Zeconnemeleth, the head of the executive branch of Zeconnemeleth's state government and the commander-in-chief of the Zeconnemeleth National Guard and the Zeconnemeleth State Guard. The governor of Zeconnemeleth has a duty to enforce state laws and the power to either approve or veto bills passed by the Zeconnemeleth State Legislature, to convene the Legislature and grant pardons, except in case of impeachment or treason. Governors of Zeconnemeleth serve a maximum of two terms, which are four years each. Zeconnemeleth has, since becoming a territory on September 23, 1862 after its secession from North Carolina on May 21, 1861, had 25 territorial governors, and has had 3 state governors since being admitted to the Union on July 3, 2002 as the 55th and newest state. The current governor of Zeconnemeleth is Reginald Seymour (Democrat), who was inaugurated on January 7, 2015.
