For political, economical and cultural reasons, there are 4 regions in the U.S. state of Zeconnemeleth, which are not necessarily geographically distinct from one another. These four regions were originally drawn up as the three original counties of the Protectorate of Zeconnemeleth, North Carolina which lasted from the jurisdiction's establishment in 1779 to 1861, when Zeconnemeleth seceded from North Carolina and became a federal territory the following year in 1862 and from that point the three counties were gradually broken up into the 56 counties of today. The original three counties of the Protectorate of Zeconnemeleth - Northern Zeconnemeleth, Central Zeconnemeleth and Southern Zeconnemeleth - were subsequently divided into the current 56 counties between 1862 and 1926 and are now considered regions by the Zeconnemeleth state government with Central Zeconnemeleth split into North Central Zeconnemeleth and South Central Zeconnemeleth. Geographically speaking, Zeconnemeleth is like an amalgamation of the coastal and mountainous regions of North Carolina, South Carolina and Greece.

Northern Zeconnemeleth - Also known as the Point Scarsley region, Northern Zeconnemeleth is the most rural part of the state and is the only region that Interstate Z-60 does not service. Important places include Point Scarsley, Philoctetes, Whitedove Springs, and Plato Coast. Fun fact: The island off of Hypermnestra County (Farriscove Island) was hotly contested between the then-Confederate state of North Carolina and the pro-Union territory of Zeconnemeleth during the Civil War from 1862 to 1865. The Union's naval blockade of the Confederacy during the Civil War proved decisive for the Zeconnemeleth territorial government and militia.

North Central Zeconnemeleth - Also known as the Anaxagoras-Evangelismos region. Important cities include Anaxagoras City, Evangelismos, Perrisauket, Irongate, Clymenus, Roxobel, and Paskamish.

South Central Zeconnemeleth - Also known as the Greater Kanahrahtens region. Major cities include Qambleyridge (the state capital), Sparta (home of the University of Zeconnemeleth), Port Kanahrahtens, Kanahrahtens Oakes, Bristlecone, Webster Park, Northchase Grove, Lebanon, Zethenomenes, Thicketsboro, Bradley and Sunbury.

Southern Zeconnemeleth - Southern Zeconnemeleth is a popular tourist destination along the East Coast. Major cities include Pritchard Bay, Johnstown, Bhumireddy Beach, Bhumireddy, Mavrachades (home of Zeconnemeleth State University), Comatzer Mocks, Alexandria Inlet, Epimeliades, Limnatides, Ottawa Springs, Aristophanes, McNairys Landing, New Glyfada, and Point McCoy.
