Governors of Mallettbarr

The governor of Mallettbarr is the head of government of the U.S. state of Mallettbarr, the head of the executive branch of Mallettbarr's state government and the commander-in-chief of the Mallettbarr National Guard and the Mallettbarr State Guard. The governor of Mallettbarr primarily enforces the state laws of Mallettbarr and has the power to either approve or veto bills passed by the Mallettbarr State Legislature, to convene the Legislature and grant pardons, except in case of impeachment or treason. Governors of Mallettbarr serve a maximum of three terms, which are four years each. Mallettbarr has had two territorial governors and nine state governors in its history since being part of the United States. The current governor of Mallettbarr is Elton D. Gary (Republican), who was inaugurated on January 15, 2014 and is known for being a prominent figure in the Gary family political machine, which has dominated politics in the state of Mallettbarr since the late 1940s.
