Major Rivers in Altamasstachia

There are 24 major rivers in the U.S. state of Altamasstachia, with the River Stipe being the longest river in the state at 786 miles long. Rivers in Altamasstachia are named as "River [insert name here]" like in the United Kingdom and much of Europe as opposed to "[insert name here] River" in the rest of the United States. This map features all of Altamasstachia's major rivers and tributaries - in total, there are 358 rivers (major and minor) and over 23,000 creeks and streams in the state in addition to 8,700 lakes throughout the state. Often, but not always, county lines were drawn up over the years with rivers as a border as Altamasstachia's number of counties grew from 192 upon statehood in 1865 to its current 550 counties in 1971.

River Huey - The principal tributary of the Huey Watershed area in the southwestern part of the state.

River Humbarton - Named as a portmanteau of the two creeks that make up its source - the Hum Creek and the Barton Creek which begin in the Clapton Range, the semi-arid desert region in the middle of the state. Also the principal waterway through the Heston and Olympia metropolitan areas. The mouth of the River Humbarton is at the Pacific Ocean nearby the Port of Olympia-Esteban in Esteban.

River Josiah - The closest major waterway to the St. Ann metropolitan area, although St. Ann's primary water source has been the Interchangeable Creek and the Pacific Ocean (via desalinization).
