Cancelled Altamasstachia State Freeway Routes in Altamasstachia Highway revolts (or freeway revolts) have occurred in cities and regions across the United States, and these protests date back to the 1950s, when neighborhood activists in cities such as Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, & Washington, D.C. became aware of the effect that construction of controlled-access highways and other high-capacity, high-speed throughfares was having on local neighborhoods.
